This document is the second volume of the Annotated Bibliography on Women in Development in Asia and the Pacific. The first volume, covering the period up to 1986, was published in 1988. While this volume mainly covers the period 1988-1989, some entries for the earlier period inadver- terntly left out in the first volume are also included. The document is designed to provide bibliographic information relating to women’s issues contained in government publications and reports, monographs, research papers, training manuals, journal articles, meeting reports, and so forth. The coverage includes work concerning women in development at the national, subregional, regional and international levels, with the primary focus on the countries of the Asian and Pacific region
